People throw around the phrase “fairytale wedding” a lot. Most of the time, it’s about how something looks.
Brielle and Justus’ wedding at Searles Castle felt like one — but not because it took place at a literal castle.
It was her brother picking up a guitar and singing “Daughters” during the father-daughter dance.
It was her dad’s reaction when he opened his eyes and saw Brielle for the first time (one of the best faces I’ve captured).
It was the way Justus kissed Brielle’s hand after putting her wedding band on. Unrehearsed and raw.
It was the youngest ring bearer getting pulled down the aisle in a wagon with a potato chip on his blanket to keep him happy.
It was the bridal party getting introduced and going absolutely HAM to pump up the guests and get the party started.
It was the handwritten notes left at each guest’s seat, ready for them to read at the start of the reception.
And it was the sunset that made for the perfect backdrop at the end of their day.
I’m really grateful Brielle and Justus trusted me to capture their big day + document all of the details and in-between moments that came with it.
